January 6. Here we are again, clinging to Democracy. As cant-look-away riveting as this week’s House debacle has been, we must realize that the stakes are very very high. Past time for 6 patriotic Reps to join Dems to install Speaker Jeffries. #HakeemJeffriesForSpeaker
And this is only the beginning. Thomas specifically identifies Obergefell, Lawerence, and Griswold next. So same sex marriage, bedroom privacy, and contraception also in their sights. Plus Gorsuch refused to call *brown* settled law! So back to Jim Crow?

The Voting Rights Act was only signed 55 years ago. Tonight I'm thinking about all the Black folks in Georgia who have lived on both sides of it. Who voted in this election and who remember a time when they wouldn't have been able to. It wasn't that long ago. Not at all.

This is good. We won’t get to immunity unless a critical mass are vaccinated, and some people can’t get vaccines for health reasons. Good job by Pence
