Plenty of people believe you can feed your family for a full year with a couple of 4x4 raised bed gardens. It's pretty ridiculous.

Same. A few fresh green onions. A handful of tomatoes. I'm a little more on top of it this year so hoping for some peas I can eat by the handful fresh, lettuce and my personal gardening Everest - spinach.

Maybe not food security but for some they may be the only affordable source of fresh organic vegetables, especially greens, particularly in urban food deserts.
