I really cannot express fully how much pure math is not a science. I literally know nothing about science at all tbh.

Oh shit that is COOL AS HELL. I have heard philosophy folks say that math is close to it but not a math person! That’s awesome and I hadn’t really appreciated that before.
It’s like if we took analytic philosophy to its rigorous extreme. It honestly loses a lot of the beauty non-analytically-rigorous based philosophy can touch but it also gains a ton that it can’t.

Are you very interested in philosophy of mathematics / philosophy of science from the analytic Phil perspective, eg the question of how and why mathematical physics is possible at all (as opposed to the speculative use of math in the service of metaphysics that we’ve discussed)
