People suck that's why, im sorry you missed out on being your true self earlier

You can say things like we didn't understand "back then" and that may even be true, depending on ones age, but we do know better now, and that's what's even more awful. There is not understanding that you're causing harm, and knowing full well, and sayin F' it. Makes me crazy.

so sorry. Whilst I can’t truly understand, I hear your pain & your challenge is convicting (as it should be). As just one cis hetero guy I’m trying my best to be a good ally & help teach other cis people. Small steps but I wish as a society we’re taking bigger ones. #aroha

I used to feel like this as well sometimes, especially about feeling robbed of childhood. Fwiw, so many people have their lives scarred by terrible treatment at the hands of ignorant and cruel people. For me, it helped to integrate survival as my story, sending you best wishes.

It hurts to think about kids today, having so many great experiences taken from them.

I share your anger for what the cisgender ppl have done to you, to all of us and to me. I lay the blame for this intolerant treatment on lies told by religious figures supporting intolerance and hate of anyone they fail to understand.
