I feel there's an important lesson a lot of people fail to learn, in that everyone makes mistakes in life. The important thing is how you respond moving forward. Like, yeah, if someone does something shitty, it's ok to be mad, but you also have to give them the chance to change.
I feel like to many celebrities or verified people on here are being understanding and non caring aboit what James did because he is a Director of two big Hollywood movies BUT if he was a conservative pundit, well fuck him right?

Seeing this comparison so much, but uh... are you thinking of some conservative pundit who USED to say hateful, bigoted, or generally vile things, has changed, regrets it, and was denied forgiveness? Or are they still hateful to this day?

Part of the probably is that yes, you can make a point by creating a pithy dichotomy like this, but I will instantly lose a good faith debate if I say this is different and start talking about why it's different. Conservatism is very "simple rules" friendly.
