I do the train to London and that's it really.. so this is a wee adventure for me.. I prefer driving ..

I would hate the train to London. Prefer to fly and far cheaper. I'll be Edinburgh on tue and the cost of that is huge

True enough .. door to door from Fortrose to Witney is 8 hours on a plane&coachs. Train would be 14 or more .. I do it regularly
