There's a new "service" out today that's offering microloans for people who want to buy Magic cards. Luckily, most of the people on my TL seem to be treating this with the "respect" it deserves.
I feel like anyone who needs this advice will think they're too smart to need it.

This is prob a bad idea for most cards. You prob would’ve done fine buying power at some % interest though. And if you’re in ANY debt and buy cards instead of paying off principle, you’re sorta financing that buy. (Ive no opinion on the character of the specific business here)
If you can go back in time and pick your investments with hindsight, sure! Unfortunately, there are lots of opportunities that seem like can't-misses in the moment but are a lot riskier than they seem.
People need to understand to not buying luxuries they can't afford, specially with loans where the interest rate is not worth it. Sadly most people are not financially responsible.
