why is it sad that he's being punished for being a criminal? He knew the rules, he broke them, he got properly punished for breaking the rules. If he's not happy with the (certainly low) amount of money he gets, he's free to look for other, legal, income methods

You can't do 'legal' stuff when you have to spent 10h atleast per day to be pro on wow or any other games btw . Blame blizzard if 99% of the top players need to coach due to low cashprizes . crowdfunding could have been a solution aswel but we know how it ended :)
