The reason Americans stood by and allowed our government to burn down a church with 80 parishioners inside at #Waco was because of a demonization campaign. We only heard 1 side of the story; the Davidians were isolated. Now #Assange is being given the David Koresh treatment.

By Day 51 of the #Waco siege, Americans were practically begging the government to storm the church and murder those people. That’s the danger Julian #Assange now faces. Enough repeated lies have been told about him that some folks are actually hoping the US Gov kills him.

See here's the thing. It is normalized. Not that Asange's situation is remotely acceptable, but prosecutors and law enforcement routinely abuse their power and trample on people and their rights. Happens every day. You awareness needs to catch up to reality.
