I've spoken with an addon reviewer and wanted to clarify something.
The Stylish people made the announcement about the spying Jan 2017 and enabled it in other browsers but not Firefox (against policy).
They only snuck it in March of this year. About 6 weeks ago.

I've seen several comments angry at Mozilla/Firefox for letting it go for so long (per your post). Perhaps you can update it to reflect that it's not been in the Firefox addon as long as that.
