As I spend time in Maine, I’m noticing many confederate flags on properties and cars. To be clear, the confederacy was alive for 5 years, and their pursuit was to keep slavery legal in the US—and they lost. It seems many people with confederate flags don’t seem to know this.

Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain was a genuine Civil War hero. He won an important battle during Gettysburg. He was later Governor of Maine and President of Bowdoin College. Maine is full of weird of white people and supernatural evil as far as I can tell.

Oh, come on you guys! Population of Maine is a bit over one million people. Mostly white, but also a number of people within lsdt 20 yrs who settled here as asylum seekers. Demographics are changing slowly. We have high percentage of octogenarians & NEED younger residents. But

Maine, where some people, born and raised, especially in small towns, don't understand that they shouldn't say the N-word.
