Good point. I loathe Trump & find this claim believable but as a fellow filmmaker I’m not sure why they would mic him for what’s essentially a B Roll shot. Unless the there was internal audio on the camera they used or for BTS footage it would make sense.
He was miked with a lav. My buddy was the audio tech, Trump turned around and sneered at him after it was said. He likes to say stuff like that in front of minorities. There was also dialogue shot that day, but footage was used as B-roll. @realDonaldTrump
