I went to High School an hour from NYC in Shrub Oak, NY. There was plenty of racism then and now. At my 30th reunion last October, a female former classmate used the n-word. (Yes, I called her on it) don’t kid yourselves that Trump’s support is only in rural areas.

Yup. I grew up 25 miles out of NYC. My home invented the laser and the transistor and UNIX.... racism was abound. Idiots are everywhere.

Yup. I grew up 25 miles from NYC in NJ..... 87% white. The racism was EVERYWHERE. People would say them to me since I am a white male. I have called out way more people than I ever should have had to about it.

It's not. My former bff turned out to be a trump supporter, and she's an educated, sweet, woman of faith, intelligent- she's from NY also, has cop relatives. I was blown away when I found out & our friendship has suffered for it.
