I don't think Trump would know how to be grateful (something that helps ground you) when his boasts are based on fantasy because anything "real" isn't good enough.

Resentments are triggers...they’re formed from unmet expectations. They’re toxic to sobriety. I’m in recovery and they’re the first thing I check at the door each day with my Higher Power. If I don’t I can easily be taken down by them. Humility and gratitude must replace them.
