I have always known this. The most ignorant, who have been so their entire lives, finally have someone in the highest position of power who makes them feel adored and worthy.
A big part of Trump’s appeal has always been that he makes dumb people feel smart. Even among that demographic he is slipping and he knows it. @realDonaldTrump

Yes and that's a fact. Vanity Fair ran an article about Trump when he was married to Ivana. She revealed that Trump kept a book of Hitler's speeches on his nightstand and Trump admitted it.

He doesn’t “think” that deeply, he just reacts. Nothing legally “bad” has ever happened to him so he feels immune from prosecution and attempts are seen as “witch hunts”. He only “believes” in his untouchableness. (?)

I remember reading back in 2016- “He is a dumb person’s idea of a smart person. He is a poor person’s idea of a rich person. A criminal’s idea of an honest person.” I can’t take credit but whoever wrote that was spot on.
