Mow the lawn, it might help.
I’m part of the pollinator pathway, I stopped mowing last year except for small sections, I would rather have butterflies, bees and animals than a lawn.

You must not live in an HOA neighborhood. God forbid you pass up a manicured lawn for wildlife in one of those, they'd send you a strongly worded letter with grass length requirements, pictures of your grass with a ruler for scale and a $500.00 fine.

I turned an old farm hayfield into a wildflower meadow with tons of milkweed for the monarchs. I mow paths for me and the dogs.

I planted Russian sage in my yard in Boise and the bees went flocked to the bushes which bloomed for months. I let them get big and wild because of all the bees. By far I had more bees than anyone else in my neighborhood. Had an epi-pen with me at all times but it was worth it.
