Because the reason we don’t tax churches is because they help care for the poor and needy right? 
Hope the Vatican opens their very deep pockets and does right by the people of Italy who have suffered so much. Their treasures and vast riches could go a long way to help alleviate the suffering in their country right now. Haha just kidding.
