I'll grant you that he (like anyone) loses articulation when he appears to be high. But too many who look at videos somehow become experts. When Hillary was campaigning, someone claimed she had mental issues because she was "displaying micro-expressions." Ridiculous.

He spent six years with the guy, watching him abuse drugs (among other things). Idk about u, but I've spent time around addicts and I learned to tell what they were experiencing by how they acted.
