It is interesting how “Cleetus”, as you’ve aptly names him, contributes to the sweaty, unprepared look that the GOP side is obviously going for.
Cleetus is there as a prop to help GOP identify with Trump’s base. It’s meant to signal, we are not elites, we are MAGA, folks. Surprised he doesn’t have a beard and a vape rig.
