President Obama had the Dead play his first Inauguration’s mid-Atlantic Ball. I was there, he and Michelle came out mid-set and gave a speech. In related notes I ran into Bob Weir once in Ted Kennedy’s office around ‘90 when I was a messenger for the CBO-It was surreal.
