trump only built the taj after it was abandoned. it was the worst looking of the 3 casino's. AC was the nj mob battleground between the genovese and gambino crime families. they mobbed up the bartenders union and owned all the concrete.
When Trump built casinos in AC, he liked to renege on paying the contractors and vendors for their work. He learned this from his Dad, who was in biz w/ mob and was ‘untouchable’. Don had same mob ties in AC-you don’t not pay in NJ (and live long) unless u do. @realDonaldTrump

I’ve worked in AC for nearly 20 years. I worked for one of his vendors that he stiffed and eventually I lost my job. It was a common sight to see contractor vans from as far away as Ohio working at his properties because he stiffed so many local and regional companies.

I was watching videos of the mob a few weeks ago and couldn't stop watching them. It was interesting and scary. They controlled everything and the Trump's didn't build or do anything without them. Michael Franzese was very interesting.

I remember. He bought up everything, went bankrupt and took Atlantic City with him. It affected the economies of neighboring counties in Jersey and Philly. NY thinks they corner the market on disliking the Trump name. They don't.
