Yep!! I had to work with him on a ton of MTV stuff-we asked him to help settle down crowd at Woodstock ‘99 as women were being assualted in audience. He and Fred Durst both refused to make announcements from stage for public safety. Instead they made it worse. Awful people.

I actually confronted both of them about it at the VMA’s in ‘99 a few weeks later at Lincoln Ctr and Durst tried to punch me. But Ad-Rock came to my rescue and also denounced all the sex assaults and toxic BS from stage. There’s tape of that somewhere. Beastie Boys were woke AF.
