He hated that the ‘Apprentice’ contestants played for charity and he couldn’t keep the money. In most cases he did anyway. When he said ‘I will match your contribution’ he never did and NBC had to pay it. But he wrote it off on his taxes like he did pay.

Except he said that he'd match their charitable contributions. He said it. Now we know he's a pathological liar, but I'm sure back then many ppl believed that he opened up his dusty wallet. I guess they were fools to believe he'd have a charitable bone (spur) in his body.
