Not good enough where an entire directly-deposited paycheck, every pay period, is concerned. Sounds like you’re tempting people to pile up their entire income, rather than a modest amount meant for incidental spending, in an uninsured Cash account.
Funds you deposit to Cash App are secure and insured. Square works with network institutions who provide FDIC insurance for a majority of the funds, and Square protects the remainder.

What is a “majority”? Is this indirect FDIC coverage you cite exactly the same as regular FDIC coverage in a regulated bank? And is Square an insurer on par with the US government, which has made whole millions of people over the years, and, you know, prints the money?

@cashapp@CashSupport he is right over 600$ was removed from my account no trace no record no reason and I couldn’t even get a human to contact me or assure me it’s ok I’m stuck waiting until they figure it out or contact me my sons bday I’m broke now with no answers -

Cashapp doesn’t state anywhere in their user agreements that they cover fraudulent cash card transactions. The help number they provide sends you to an automated system that tells you to report it via cashapp application and hangs up.

So a friend sent me money to an old account and cash app is telling me they can't merge the two accounts in order for me to receive the money nor can the sender get the money back..what's my recourse..this is total bs... and illegal..
