Kevin reporting on this story reminds me of the time when I covered crime for the
@dailycal at Berkeley and found two wallets from an armed robbery. I called both the police and victims, and gave them back. They interviewed me. Then I interviewed them both for the story. -
For that story, my editor wouldn't let me report that I was the one who had found the wallets.
