Given this reality, the scaring of women (WAR ON WOMEN) over a "threat" that impacted almost none of them -- and vanishingly few if any today -- is wrong. And media or legal commentators willfully playing on fears should be ashamed.

When people argue speech is violence/causes harm they will cite anxiety and physiological responses. What about the anxiety and associated responses from overblown claims by media/advocates about "reproductive rights" being taken away when those rights were never threatened?

They'd make a RFRA argument, presumably. And the court would evaluate whether the mandate imposed a substantial burden on religious exercise. If so it would weigh the compelling interest of the government and whether it chose the least restrictive means. So it depends.

Yep. There is absolutely no question there are many prominent people in this country - in politics, media, law & academia - who believe just being a Catholic is a hate crime. Until they can outlaw it outright, they'll just keep trying to bankrupt it through lawsuit abuse.
