THIS is canada. Criminalizing Indigenous peoples in order to have access to their relatives (including land and territory) is violent colonialism.

My thoughts on the decision. Thank you to all the Bobs, Daves and Tims who emailed me about how the natives have too many special rights. Well duh! It’s in the constitution! You don’t like it? Change the constitution then! 🤓🧐😎😜😛

Wonderful Thread This company was also charging like $14 a gram to medical patients while the same product under a different name on the retail market was selling at about $8 a gram. Fuck LP Weed, Fuck Legalization.

“Can you legally grow your own pot? Yes – but no.” I disagree with this conclusion ⁦⁩. Another legal way to have seeds would be if an MMAR or ACMPR medical producer holder gave them to you. Or gave you clones.

  16. Personally, I oppose the distinction between “legal” and “illicit” cannabis seeds. It’s the same damn plant! But the saga highlights a discrepancy in enforcement b/w companies and individuals: slap on the wrist vs. jail time

  21. The lawsuit alleges this unauthorized activity occurred with the knowledge and approval of executive management. It’s believed that employees intentionally deceived Health Canada inspectors, including by installing fake walls to hide the cannabis being grown in unlicensed rooms.
