After light snow later today, attention turns towards a powerful late week winter storm that will bring accumulating snow, strong winds, blowing and drifting snow and very cold to dangerous wind chills. Travel may be very difficult Wednesday afternoon through Friday. #mnwx #wiwx
Light snow is likely on Monday with accumulations ranging from a trace in western Minnesota to up to 2 inches in western Wisconsin.
The probability of 2 or more inches ranges from about 40 percent north to 80 percent south on Wednesday and Thursday.
Gusty winds on Thursday and Friday will gust as high as 50 MPH in the south and 40 MPH elsewhere.
Very cold to dangerous wind chills late this week will range from the -40s in the west to the -30s in the east.

We assisted @CarverSheriff with a traffic stop in our city today. A “ghost” gun was found in the vehicle - a new, concerning trend used in violent crime across the country. Glad we got one more off of your streets (the bottom of the firearm is covered for investigative purposes).
