    Lincoln Heights, Echo Park and that whole area has been a growing gentrification hotspot for 15 years. Low income folks in the area could see that coming like everyone else and should have prepared for it. Complaining now is pointless.

    Capitalism works like this. A shame for some, but overall better for society. Should incentivize people to learn more skills and work harder. RT: As gentrification closes in, immigrants in Lincoln Heights find their American dream slipping away

    Once again, more evidence that the so-called housing crisis isn’t exactly a crisis - especially when prices are flat or even going down. This is won’t help development activists make their case against entrenched NIMBYs.
