When I was an infant, my pediatrician convinced my mom that amputating the foreskin on my penis in a highly invasive surgery with no anesthetic was a medically sound decision with no negative consequences. There was no reason to do it. #DoctorsAreDickheads
Next, I’d like you to watch a video of an infant circumcision being performed with a Gomco clamp and a topical anesthetic -https://youtu.be/GjUCR44qZLE?t=10m32s …

Lastly, here is a study demonstrating that a typical circumcision ablates the “most sensitive parts of the penis” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/17378847/ … I have also included the accompanying infographic for this study -pic.twitter.com/sSQ382qGyH

The same medical culture that omits the true innervation of the clitoris omits the innervation of the foreskin, frenulum and ridged band despite what is presented. They do highly biased counter studies even. Huge groups of people are fighting back. We call ourselves intactivists.

Regardless of how you currently feel about our struggle, I have deep sympathy for yours. I will always remember you, and I will always fight for you.

When you get a chance to watch this video, let me know if you believe this wasn’t an incredibly traumatic experience during the most sensitive time of my life.
