We are sorry to announce that our father, Robert Montgomery Bourdeaux, IV, passed away on Aug. 16.

He spent his life dedicated to women and minority achievement. For him, that work took the form of education equity.
He also believed a core aim of American education was to prepare students to be contributing citizens in a democracy.
