My mom is caring for my aging & sick father but can’t come visit b/c all of their discretionary money is paying for his meds.
Between 2002-13, the price of insulin tripled. My parents used to hit their insurance cap for drugs in Nov. Now it’s July.

Why is it increasing? One reason is Congress preventing Medicare from negotiating for better deals on drug prices.

Why have they done this? Because pharmaceutical companies gave $60 million to Congress in 2016.
