150 yrs ago today the 15th amendment was ratified.
It protected black men from being denied the right to vote.
They were still denied that right for nearly 100 yrs through intimidation & poll taxes.
Today it's through voter suppression efforts like voter purges.

Voter suppression is a national issue not only a Georgia issue. I am sick of the disenfranchisement happening around blacks, the disabled, and any other minority that’s not married white Christian men.

There will only be 2 walk in Polling places on the entire Big Island as we try islandwide mail-in (permanent absentee) ballots for the first time. I've had no problem for several years as a permanent absentee. But what if there are problems? It's a big island.
