We should work to lower costs by promoting programs like Pell Grants, yet @RepRobWoodall voted repeatedly to cut Pell Grants & other programs aimed at making college more affordable. We should help graduates by pegging loan repayments to income so they aren't bogged down by debt.
College should be free. If we do not educate the next generations what do we get? Trump.
There are several real problems: predatory schools, predatory lenders, yes, high costs, but high relative to stagnant wages amidst a culture of corporate greed where degrees don’t earn decent paying jobs...and more.

One of our biggest obstacles is the naive belief that every problem has a single cause. This leads to two futile lines of argument:
1) Arguing about which single factor is causing the problem
2) Arguing that no single “silver bullet” remedy will solve it
