The Rust Book really is a great place to start. I don't typically prefers books, but it's accessible, includes short code samples and exercises for teaching concepts, and does a good job of deferring difficult concepts until after building a foundation. https://doc.rust-lang.org/stable/book/

It might take a little while to work though the entire book, but it does a great job explaining the foundations of the language and it's definitely a worthwhile read. Thanks so much to
