.and_then() chains are great for validating some external data. It’s like I’m playing a game with the argument, saying “oh yeah? well what if i did THIS” and letting it prove it still passes the test.

i have a soft spot for cloned bc i think i designed+impl'd it to address an ergonomics hole but my heart will always live with into_iter because it's just the most convoluted identity function

as_ref() for both Option & Result. take() for Option. I didn't see the true use of take(), until just recently.

I use take() when I want an auto-reset to None, for a given resource/value.
