    Just been messaged by my son who said “A colleague just came up to me and said "I think your mum is on the front page of BBC news"” this was the moment we heard the news about the Heathrow judgement outside the Royal Courts of Justice and oh goodness we were so happy.

    As we salute the solidarity of the community in Glasgow who said no to unfair immigration enforcement lets be mindful of how the Police & now collaborate w the Home Office to target immigrants working in private hire trade in London.

    A joint Op with Immigration Enforcement & compliance team in Wandsworth today. 183 vehicles stopped. 2 seized for no insurance. 16 other drivers reported for offences incl illegally tinted windows, no MOT & no seat belt. Also a number of TfL warnings to taxi/PH drivers

    On the voter ID thing, I've had wedding couples who have struggled to produce photo ID before now. If you think it's not a big deal you need to check your privilege.

    Horrified to see even the use the number of spoiled papers at this election as an argument for changing the voting system when likely it's because of poorly designed ballot papers

    Whoever designed the ballot paper should resign. Layout must surely be causing huge amount of void / spoilt ballots as voters may have put 2x 1st choice votes or 2x 1st & 2nd choice - like these scenario examples I made here. Scandal.

    This is chilling. Not only are Conservatives curbing our right to protest, but now they are proposing to remove the fragments of fair voting we have at city level and bring in photo ID to vote - straight out of the Republican playbook. Resist.
