...if...this amendment said something like "the public shall forever have the freedom of speech in whatever manner they choose" it would be a very different USA; but this seems to be the interpretation many Americans have. you can clearly see the difference.
its why services like @bitchute especially are an exciting new prospect - if they can gain traction and stay true to their ethos against pressure in the future which will happen...someone will sue someone for something on the platform you can guarantee it.

The strange thing is...turns out our biggest internet carriers and providers have been blocking access to bitchute...without direction from the govt - which is even worse!! Australia truly is the nanny-state.

I've said from the beginning corporations can impose whatever restrictions they like on what people say and how they say it regardless of what people think is a right to free speech because they arent the government.
