Right. This is what I’m saying. I don’t want notification spam and/or have to remember to uncheck the bell every time. If I want to see your video and it’s a great video then it will show up in my feed and I’ll make a point to watch it.

That's the problem, how does Google know if it's a good video? They are selecting what videos they're going to notify you on. It's silly, when I subscribe to someone I want to see their videos, that's why I'm subscribing not when Google thinks I should watch.

Not gonna see eye to eye. You have a creator bias and I have a viewer bias. my recommended feed and sub feeds are mostly spot on and I don’t have a bunch of notifications annoying me. I enjoying browsing for my subs at my leisure. Like I like my shopping

I'm a viewer myself too I'm subscribed to over 200 channels. When I found out I wasn't getting all of my susbcribers in my sub box unless I had checked the notification bell it was disappointing. Just like an RSS feed, if I'm subbed I want to get all of the articles common sense

Again. To each his own. It’s more of a preference thing rather than common sense as this thread is an example of. You want notifications on the content and I prefer a more passive less in my face approach. No way to know which side of the fence the majority is on.

Based on all of the complaints I've seen circling around the web including people like Casey Neistat, Philip DeFranco, Jesse Wellens, etc all who constantly reaching out to YouTube and the hundreds of thousands liking their comments clearly shows what most people want.

Those are All creators with the built in bias’s. Just be open minded. There are pros/cons to both sides. not shutting down your view I’m saying it’s a preference thing. It’s like anything else. Just throw a poll up with inbiased wording and see what the small sample gives you.

Right, but I doubt all of those people liking their comments are creators. Just look at the engagement they get compared to other tweets: https://twitter.com/Jessewelle/status/977298517239635968 … and also https://twitter.com/Jessewelle/status/977300100601933824 … if people really didn't want change they wouldn't be liking the comment. 1/2

Right... I’ll take a look. Just know that often times people will back their favorites out of blind loyalty. Again not saying you are wrong. This is a preferences conversation and my preference is generally against being bombarded with notifications by default.

lol didn't you just say "throw up a poll" what more do you want from people complaining that they subbed and want to to get notified. Like I said it's obvious what the majority of people want regardless if you don't agree. Good day sir :)

How do you know that’s the majority?
