Uh...okay. Parents with narcissism are sometimes obsessed with their children. We’ve all heard the stories of stage moms, etc, whose obsession with the way their child presents themselves, and the benefit the child “gives” to the parent is beyond normal.

Yes. Reason being--a lot of narcissistic parents see their kids as little miniature extensions of their own self/being, as belongings. There's a blend of "you are my do-over life" and "you are proof of my own awesomeness"--and possible disaster if parent gets jealous of kid.
