Can we get a cold-war Bridge of Spies type crime-swap with Anne Sacoolas and Prince Andrew. We get the Yank who killed a Brit and they get a Brit who doesn't sweat and likes pizza...

This should be called out for what it really is: A key part of Dominic Cummings' campaign of constant war to stop any scrutiny of the Government and particularly here to undermine a trusted organisation which makes life uncomfortable for them.

An incredibly successful investigation by our Serious Organised Crime Branch, supported by officers from a range of investigative, operational and local policing teams. South Devon is safer following this investigation - congratulations and thanks to all involved

A quarter of Brits need to get over themselves. Language is beautiful in all its forms. Admittedly, south Essex's a bit rough, but it's still communication. Stop being such snowflakes and embrace the beauty of communication. Do these same arseholes freak out at BSL?

Train from Leeds full of young people who've clearly had a great day out in various bars. Bit scary when you're alone and in a chair. Get to my stop, and one dashes out behind me in massive heels. "I'm checking they haven't forgotten the ramp for you." The kids are alright.

Was going home using my white cane on bin day, every half step I’d collide with a bin. 2 young kids behind me said ‘we’re just going to come pass you’ and pushed every single bin out of the way for me, well over 200 bins I’d say - the youth are alright

Some facts: 1. Amman grew up and was radicalised while Johnson’s party was in govt 2. Amman was sentenced under legislation in force while Johnson’s party was in govt 3. Amman was imprisoned and “rehabilitated” in prisons whose budget was cut by 40% by Johnson’s party in govt

We wholeheartedly agree - the new Domestic Abuse Bill must view children as victims of the abuse in their own right, and include a fully funded statutory duty to ensure all children and young people get the support they need. Thank you

Interesting question is whether is being used by government colleagues to take on the lawyers and, ultimately, the courts. I’m not doubting the need to stop dangerous prisoners being released but I suspect some may relish the prospect of a fight over human rights.

Govt automatic release reforms will spark legal challenge but 2 recent cases suggest although the courts won’t allow an overall sentence to be extended after conviction they might allow changes to the terms on which the sentence is served. Not clear cut:
