Tbh professional trans writers tend to exist in little echo chambers of acceptable discourse, and they are not in any way representative of the spectrum of opinions and politics in the trans community. 1/

Any irl interaction I’ve had with a trans person in which I disclosed my detransition experience was v chill. Detrans and trans ppl are two sides of the same coin- we all had to make hard choices to deal w/ both gender dysphoria and the demands of life. 2/
