Here’s mine: I was in third or fourth grade, and already becoming unpopular. This turned me into a freak. I needed a bra, but 1) was too embarrassed to ask to my mom and 2) knew everyone would see it through my white school uniform shirt and I’d be harassed for it.

Plus there was that time I had to play a snake in a school play and was given a snake-print unitard that was tight enough to be slinky but not tight enough to be compressive and
