You can't teach them that at home?
I can teach them that at home, I just don’t think teachers making 40,000 a year teaching 30 kids in a class need to have the extra duty of making learning magical.

Agreed. For most of my 30 yrs in a classroom, I tried to make the hard work seem worthwhile. Occasionally, that involved philosophical questions and the odd chemical explosion. It seemed to work.
