Wow so like, where is God in abuse and mental illness? This question’s been doing a big number on me lately. (Please don’t be a jerk. Religion is still really important to me.)
I guess in theory the worst, most senseless suffering sets the scene for us to either receive the grace of help from others or give that grace. And those are the moments we know God and get a glimpse of heaven. But boy some suffering tests that theory.

But my favorite Jesus is Jesus yelling at God in the garden after his dummy friends fall asleep, feel like that means it’s cool to yell at God when you gotta.
