Sometimes I resent the idea that all detrans women & trans men suffer or have suffered from internalized misogyny and that if we could solve sexism, trans identification & dysphoria would go away. I really believe it would not. I think some people are generalizing way too much.

I think literally ALL ppl have unconscious, messed up beliefs about sex roles but we could magically disappear all if that and people would still be trans.
But i still think in my case being a girl who noticed sexism and was consistently invalidated about what I was noticing did not do me any favors in trying to figure parse ideas about gender identity
