So agree with this and it’s such an immature understanding of the mutuality of risk in relationships. Ppl hurt eachother regardless of the marginalization olympics. But there are truly ppl who can’t incorporate that reality into their lives.
But ALSO bc if they take responsibility for their ability to hurt others they run right up to deeply held childhood shame that helped them cope with a child’s powerlessness. THAT’S MY TAKE.

It’s why ppl who can write manifestos about their own marginalization tend to be such over the top bullies. Tbh i’m real glad when I was a kid I was told a radical sentiment was “if you have no friend in the world you’ll find one here.”
