Places where ppl cheer you on for graduations, new jobs, buying homes, kids, new hobbies, impacting the world powerfully- while having some detachment from whatever meaning you make of things.

Still holding out hope someday there will be programs that can assist detrans ppl with both mourning and doing the hard work of rebuilding a life they want, without needing them to believe anything in particular besides that they can do exactly that.

And in fact if the meaning you make of your life changes by the week, but you’re holding down a job/ dating ppl who are good to you/ getting better at gardening or rifle practice or power washing/ smoking less pot you are celebrated for the healing you’re doing.

Celebrating accomplishments would be so great! I’ve got three young adults in my practice on testosterone. One is going to college, but the other two are working for minimum-wage and smoking marijuana nightly.

God, that is so sad. Like, not everyone needs to go to college, but just...that is so dead-end. I hope they find their way.
