What always strikes me as strange is how often moms are the lead in seeking couples counseling or family counseling despite the mental health field’s terrible track record when it comes to abusing women.

Other marginalized groups have a v understandable and widespread distrust of mental health services but women don’t, and women have endured awful things at the hands of mental health experts.
