Any idiot could find the plot twists of a detrans story shocking/dramatic/compelling. The valuable part is the perspective and insight gained, and no one has those except detrans ppl.

It’s not the stories of detrans ppl that are important. That is a kind of objectification. It is the perspective of detrans ppl that are important. A detrans story written by someone who didn’t detrans might as well be fiction- it’s not the plot twists that are valuable.

We are highly compelling as symbolic pawns in other people’s ideological conflicts. Those people are small minded with small priorities. We are far too important as creators to allow ourselves to be used as symbols for anyone’s purpose.

This makes sense thanks. I’ve struggled with feeling kind of weird about sharing my story. I don’t want it to seem like it’s a sob story or for attention I want it to help others see their own struggles in my experiences & see their is a way out. If that makes sense.
